Location: Tiburon, California Pay: $30-$35/hour
Position Overview
- Prepare and execute all baked goods, breads, pastries, desserts, and related products according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure consistency in flavor, texture, appearance, and overall quality across all items
- Manage daily production schedules and prep lists to support operational needs and service demands
- Monitor product freshness and maintain proper rotation and storage procedures
- Lead and support bakery and pastry team members through training, guidance, and accountability
- Maintain a strong sense of organization and urgency while setting the standard for execution and professionalism
- Assist in delegating tasks and ensuring production goals are completed efficiently and accurately
- Foster a positive and team-oriented kitchen environment
- Collaborate with culinary leadership on seasonal features, menu development, and new product ideas
- Contribute creative input while maintaining alignment with the overall concept and standards
- Stay informed on current baking and pastry trends, techniques, and industry developments
- Maintain inventory awareness, assist with ordering, and monitor product levels to minimize waste and shortages
- Ensure all baking equipment, tools, and workspaces are clean, organized, and properly maintained
- Assist with receiving and properly storing deliveries and ingredients
- Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards at all times
- Maintain proper labeling, dating, and storage procedures for all products
- Ensure cleanliness and organization throughout all bakery and prep areas
