Position Overview
The Bartender is a central figure in both the guest experience and the operational flow of the restaurant, balancing elevated hospitality with precision, speed, and consistency behind the bar. This role requires strong multitasking abilities, awareness, and the confidence to engage with guests while executing high-level beverage production. Whether crafting cocktails, preparing drinks for the dining room, or supporting food service, the Bartender operates with a full understanding of the bar and its impact on the overall experience. More than just making drinks, this position is responsible for creating an engaging and efficient bar environment where guests feel welcomed and service is executed seamlessly.
Guest Experience & Hospitality
- Deliver sincere, engaging hospitality while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced bar environment
- Interact confidently with guests, balancing conversation and service without compromising speed or quality
- Create a welcoming and energetic bar atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience
- Prepare all beverages with accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail, following established recipes and standards
- Ensure proper use of glassware, garnishes, and presentation for all drinks
- Maintain strong knowledge of all beverage offerings, including cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic selections
- Execute drink tickets for the dining room within established service times, supporting the flow of the floor
- Prioritize and manage multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining composure and quality
- Communicate effectively with Servers and management to ensure timely and accurate delivery of beverages
- Work closely with bar backs and the service team to maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar
- Coordinate with the team when stepping away from the bar, ensuring coverage and continuity of service
- Assist with food service when needed, maintaining awareness of overall restaurant flow
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the bar at all times
- Monitor inventory levels, prep ingredients, and ensure all tools and products are stocked for service
- Follow all procedures, standards, and responsibilities as directed by management
